The aquarium is located in the lively harbor district of Port Vell and can be easily reached on foot. From the train station Gare de Catalunya or the promenade La Rambla it is about 10-15 minutes along the promenade to the aquarium - a pleasant city walk with a sea view.
The Aquarium Barcelona is located in the charming harbor district of Port Vell and is easily accessible via the coastal highway Ronda Litoral. Take exit 21 or 22 to get directly to Port Vell.
The best parking option is Parking Indigo in the C.C. Maremagnum, directly below the shopping center: around 300 m (approx. 3 minutes' walk) from the aquarium. The parking garage is open 24 hours, monitored and barrier-free.
Alternatives within walking distance are the SABA Bamsa Barceloneta (approx. 6 minutes' walk) and the APK2 Plaza del Mar (approx. 18 minutes). Both offer covered parking spaces at moderate prices and are open around the clock.
The easiest way to reach the aquarium is to take the L3 (green line) to Drassanes station - from there it is around a 10-minute walk. Alternatively, the L4 (yellow line) will take you to Barceloneta station, also around a 10-minute walk away.
Numerous lines stop at the "Port Vell" stop - including V17, 47, 59, 120, D20, H14, V13, V15 and V19.
The Turístic bus (red route) and another city tour bus stop right next to the Aquarium (Port Vell).
