Poema del Mar is just a few minutes' walk from the cruise terminal and the popular El Muelle shopping center - ideal for visitors exploring Las Palmas on foot.
If you are traveling by car, you can easily reach Poema del Mar via the GC-1, the island's main freeway, exit "Puerto / Muelle". The "Parking Centro Comercial El Muelle" parking garage is located right next to the aquarium and is open around the clock. From there it is only a few minutes' walk to the entrance of the aquarium.
The aquarium is well connected by public transport: Numerous bus lines of the municipal company Guaguas Municipales (including lines 12, 21, 45, 47 and 60) stop at the nearby "Santa Catalina" station, which is only about a 5-minute walk from the entrance. The aquarium can also be reached in a few minutes from the central San Telmo bus station.
