On foot from the city center or train station

The aquarium is located in the heart of the Porto Antico, the old port of Genoa. You can easily reach it on foot in 10-15 minutes from the old town or Genova Piazza Principe train station - ideal as part of a city walk.

By car - also for day visitors

If you are traveling by car, you can easily reach the aquarium via the A7 freeway (exit Genova Ovest). The "Parcheggio Acquario di Genova" parking garage is located directly at the harbor, open around the clock and just a few steps away from the entrance.

There are also other parking garages and parking lots near the port.

By public transportation

The connections are excellent: Numerous bus lines (including 1, 9, 13, 32, 635) stop at the nearby Caricamento/Acquario stop. The San Giorgio subway station (line MM) is also only a 4-minute walk away.
