The New England Aquarium is centrally located on Boston Harbor and is within walking distance of several major transportation hubs. From South Station, it is about a 15-minute walk to the aquarium. The aquarium is also just a few minutes' walk from Faneuil Hall Marketplace.

Getting to the New England Aquarium by car is easy thanks to its central location in Boston. Interstates I-93 and I-90 (Massachusetts Turnpike) provide quick access to the city center. The Government Center or South Station exits take you close to the aquarium.

The Harbor Garage parking garage is located directly opposite. From there it is only a few steps to the main entrance of the aquarium.

The Aquarium subway station (Blue Line) is right next to the building and just a few steps from the entrance. All other subway lines are connected to the Blue Line.
